Who are they?
Black Rock Bristol is the younger, bigger sibling to the London branch. In fact, at a capacity of 60 people, it's one of the largest dedicated whisky bars in England.

A bit of background
With an already successful and established bar in London, Black Rock whisky bar approached us to help them with their launch into the Bristol market. With a full understanding of the risk of bringing an out-of-town brand into the city, Black Rock wanted to be mindful of creating a launch campaign that engaged the Bristol audience in the right way.
Working the team and a host of local suppliers, such as Moor Beer, we created a launch campaign which encompassed social media, PR and events to bring the brand to the city with a bang. We deployed a social marketing strategy which built excitement through teaser images and video content, all supported with a drip-fed PR campaign releasing details to really create interest. To round it off we threw multiple launch events - firstly hosting a special preview inviting all of the city’s bartenders and bar owners, followed by a press and influencer evening where guests could sample Black Rock’s house-aged Old Fashioned, poured themselves from the bar’s whisky tree...naturally!
We helped Black Rock launch into Bristol with a bang, gaining column inches in all of the city’s lifestyle, foodie and business titles as well as creating a ‘wall of noise’ across social media, leveraging industry leaders and influencers.
